About celltypes.org Thank you for visiting!

We started celltypes.org to bring the power of genome-wide expression profiling in single cells and cell populations to individual scientists. One day, we want to allow you to query the average expression of your favorite genes in every major cell type.

Currently, one of the groups of data sets (Brain) involved re-mapping public RNA sequencing reads via a unified pipeline (McKenzie and Wang et al., manuscript in preparation), and should be considered beta version. The other data sets involved averaging and visualizing public data (primarily from GEO).
